Hauly is a UK same-day courier marketplace. There are no subscription fees for customers or drivers. Customers pay a fixed price per job; drivers pay a commission only on completed jobs.

### Same-Day Courier Delivery

Prices are fixed quotes, inclusive of collection and delivery. VAT is not applied to the courier job price itself (individual drivers are not VAT-registered unless noted). All quotes are free with no account required.

- **Local (under 30 miles):** £35–£65
- **Regional (30–100 miles):** £60–£120
- **National (100+ miles):** £90–£200

#### By City (Same-Day Local Rate)

- London: £40–£80
- Manchester: £25–£60
- Birmingham: £25–£55
- Bristol: £25–£55
- Leeds: £25–£50
- Edinburgh: £25–£55
- Glasgow: £25–£55
- Liverpool: £25–£50
- Sheffield: £25–£50
- Cardiff: £25–£50
- Cambridge: £30–£60
- Oxford: £30–£60
- Brighton: £30–£60
- Newcastle: £25–£55
- Southampton: £25–£55
- Nottingham: £25–£50
- Leicester: £25–£50
- Coventry: £25–£50

#### By Vehicle Type (multipliers on base rate)

- Car / hatchback: base rate
- Small van (e.g. Transit Connect): +10–20%
- Transit / medium van: +20–35%
- Luton van / tail-lift: +35–50%

#### Surcharges

- Out-of-hours collection (before 8am or after 6pm): +15–20%
- Weekend or bank holiday: +15–30%
- Urgent (within 60 minutes): no additional charge — included in quoted price

#### Next-Day Delivery (national network)

- Local (under 30 miles): £10–£20
- Regional (30–100 miles): £15–£30
- National (100+ miles): £25–£50

## Driver / Courier Pricing

Hauly charges drivers a commission on completed and paid jobs only.

- **Monthly subscription fee:** £0 (none)
- **Commission rate:** percentage of job value (disclosed at driver onboarding)
- **When you owe nothing:** if you do not work, you owe nothing

### Driver Requirements (no charge)

- Valid UK driving licence
- Hire and reward (H&R) motor insurance — typical cost £1,200–£2,000/year (driver's own cost)
- Goods-in-transit insurance, minimum £10,000 per load — typical cost £150–£350/year
- Public liability insurance, minimum £1,000,000 — typical cost £80–£200/year
- Vehicle under 10 years old, under 3.5 tonnes
- Smartphone (iOS or Android)

Application and verification: free. Verification takes approximately 48 hours.
