Legal Document Courier London: Same-Day Delivery

TL;DR: For legal documents that must arrive in London today, a same-day courier collects the papers and delivers them direct, with a signature or photo and GPS-tracked proof. It starts from £61 and the price, including any Congestion Charge, is fixed before you pay. A courier delivers documents; it does not serve them.

---

London deadlines do not move because the post is slow. Completion documents, signed contracts, board resolutions, disclosure bundles and court papers often have to be in a specific place by a specific time. A same-day courier fits that gap.

What a document courier does

• Collects sealed documents from your office or home.
• Drives straight to the recipient, with no depot, no sorting and no shared mailbag.
• Hands over to the named person or reception and records a signature or photo.
• Provides GPS-tracked delivery confirmation you can keep on file.

What it does not do

Be clear about the difference between delivery and service. A courier is not a process server. If a person must be formally served and the delivery evidenced by a sworn statement, use your solicitor or a process server. A courier is the right tool for delivering papers between solicitors, to clients, to banks, to counterparties and to court offices where physical delivery is acceptable. If you are filing at court, check the court's own rules on method and times before relying on a courier.

Common London document jobs

• Property completion. Signed transfer and completion papers between conveyancers and lenders.
• Contracts for signature. Originals sent to a counterparty to sign and return the same day.
• Court bundles and papers. Moving between chambers, solicitors and the court office.
• Corporate paperwork. Board resolutions, share certificates and statutory books.
• Passports and identity documents for visa or ID-check appointments, in a sealed envelope.

For originals, tell the driver at booking that the envelope contains an original document, so they know to hand it directly to the named recipient.
