What furniture a courier can move
Most single pieces and small loads: sofas, armchairs, beds and mattresses, wardrobes and chests of drawers, dining tables and chairs, desks and shelving, appliances such as washing machines and fridges, and flat-pack boxes. Larger loads, or several rooms, call for a Luton van.

Under 30 miles is a flat local price. After that it climbs with distance:

These are fixed totals including the card fee for a standard next-day booking. Same-day and within-4-hour collection adds 5% to 15%, within 1 hour adds 30% (minimum £30), and evening or weekend collection adds a flat £10. Everything is shown in the price before you pay.
Prepare for a smooth delivery
- Measure doorways, stairwells and lifts at the delivery end as well as the item.
- Disassemble what you can. Taking legs off a table or a bed frame apart often drops you a van size.
- Wrap and protect. Use blankets or furniture covers; the driver may bring straps but not packaging.
- Arrange help. For heavy pieces, have a second person at each end.
